Networking and connectivity

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offers a variety of networking and connectivity services to help you connect and secure your resources.
Virtual Cloud Network (VCN)
A virtual version of a traditional network that you can use to connect your resources in OCI. You can create subnets, route tables, security lists, and other network resources within a VCN.
Internet and VPN Connectivity
You can connect your VCN to the internet or to your on-premises network using FastConnect or VPN Connect. FastConnect provides a dedicated and private connection to the internet or your on-premises network, while VPN Connect allows you to connect to your on-premises network using an IPsec VPN.
Load Balancing
OCI Load Balancing allows you to distribute incoming traffic across multiple instances to improve the performance and availability of your applications. It also allows you to perform Health Check on instances and route traffic to healthy instances.
DNS
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure DNS allows you to create and manage custom DNS zones and records to provide human-friendly names for your resources.

Security Lists and Network Security Groups
Security Lists and Network Security Groups allow you to control inbound and outbound traffic to your instances and subnets.

Direct Connect
Oracle Direct Connect provides a dedicated, private network connection between your on-premises data center and OCI.

These are some of the networking and connectivity services offered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, but there are more as well. These services allow you to create and manage your own virtual networks, connect to the internet or on-premises network, distribute incoming traffic, manage DNS, and secure your resources.
