Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Regions

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a cloud computing platform provided by Oracle Corporation. It offers a variety of services, including computing, storage, and networking. OCI regions are geographic locations where OCI services are made available to customers.

Each region is a separate geographic area that consists of one or more availability domains. An availability domain is a physically separate and independent location within a region, and it has its own power, cooling, and networking. This allows for high availability and fault tolerance within a region.

As of the knowledge cut-off date, the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Regions are:

US East (Ashburn, Virginia)
US West (Phoenix, Arizona)
Canada Central (Montreal, Quebec)
Europe (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Asia Pacific (Tokyo, Japan)
Asia Pacific (Mumbai, India)
Asia Pacific (Singapore)
Middle East (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
Brazil South (São Paulo, Brazil)
Australia (Melbourne, Victoria)
Oracle continues to expand its cloud infrastructure, adding new regions regularly, and also provides the option for customers to use the services in-country regions for compliance and data sovereignty reasons.
